Direct to the People

Few gifts come to the Kurdish people with no strings attached. Often gifts require support of a political or religious party. Direct to the People is our simple response to freely give to the neediest of the needy.

This program meets a wide variety of needs: food staples, heating supplies or school scholarships are all given in Jesus’ name. Direct to the People partners with indigenous Kurdish organizations helping them establish sustainable charitable and educational programs that transform suffering and violence prone communities.

The Noreen Charitable Trust has funded Direct to the People in anticipation of attracting like-minded partners. It is our goal to grow our financial partners to $50,000 annually and the number of partner Kurdish organizations from seven to ten.
